About Me
Hi I'm Carol, owner of The Happy Puppy and Dog Training Company. I have a lifelong love of animals having grown up in a household with a menagerie of dogs, cats, chickens, pheasants and ponies!
The first animal that was truly my own was a tiny kitten that I rescued. It was when trying to find a friend for TC that I met Toby in the rescue centre. Fortunately, Toby being a puppy, rather than a kitten, didn’t seem to matter to TC and the two of them became firm friends and engaged in all sorts of mad games! Toby set me on a path of training that led me to have the most wonderful relationship with him.
Since then I have never looked back and firmly believe that training and socialisation of puppies is the key to having a well balanced, happy, family pet. I have gone on to rehome several other rescue dogs and have been involved in obedience, agility and flyball with many of them.
I currently share my home with our 3 dogs, Benjy a 14 year old Staffie x Lab, Bear a 5 year old Cockapoo and Jet a 22 month old Border Collie, three teenagers and my husband!

- Puppy School for vaccinated puppies up to 20 weeks
- Junior and Adult Dog Training for puppies and dogs over 5 months
- 1-2-1 Training and Advice (in your own home)
Courses are run at our Weyhill and Penton Mewsey venues.

Classes are fun and informative and I use only positive, reward based training methods. 1-2-1's are tailored to you and your dog with the option of comprehensive written notes to enable you to get the best our of the session.
